About the wine
Spectacular red blend from under the 'Dome' of the Helderberg Mountain
- The fruit for this special wine was grown under the 'Dome' of the Helderberg Mountain. This mountain area is one of the premium wine growing regions of Stellenbosch. The cooling sea breeze and gentle slopes make wonderfully ripe and fresh premium fruit.
- When I got the rare opportunity to buy fruit from this much sought after vineyard, I jumped at the chance to bring this beautiful fruit to the Angels in wine form. It is having the vision to grab opportunities like these, made possible by the Angels, that make Naked Wines so unique. What a fantastic position to be in!
- The 2014 vintage is a great example of the fruit on the Helderberg Mountain. A complex wine, with ripe blackcurrant and fruit, soft silky tannins, dark chocolate and a hint of spice, plus just the right amount of acidity to help keep all components neatly in balance.
