About the wine
Antonio's characterful Alvarinho was voted one of the five best wines in the Vinho Verde region
- Seven unique vineyards give rise to this wine. They all grow Alvarinho, but each is situated at a different altitude, has different sun exposure and the soils are different… the sum of all them comes together in this single and unique wine.
- My aim was to create a wine full of character and soul. It reached this year's Ambassador status of "Vinho Verde" – DOC, being voted one of the five best wines of the region, with the "Best Of" status.
- My Alvarinho is a wine full of fruity and floral aromas. It is intense and full of minerality, all this being a result of the unique climate that the Atlantic climatic region offers, combined with ancient vinification techniques that we use.

Meet the winemaker - José Domingues
- Jose started his career as a winemaker at the tender age of 16. He knows the Vinho Verde region better than anybody else.
- Archangels discovered Jose in a blind tasting of Portuguese wines, and fell madly in love… his creations stood head and shoulders above the rest!
- Jose is a seriously passionate and dedicated chap - “I think what makes my wines special is actually the passion and detail that my whole team puts into the work we do... the care of the vineyard, the thoroughness with which we create each wine, so that each wine reveals its maximum potential and character”
