Weingut Würtzberg Pinot Blanc 2019
About the wine
A mouthwatering Mosel Pinot Blanc packed full of fruity complexity
-
This is an incredible find. An elegant Pinot Blanc from Germany’s super-famous Mosel region that combines full-bodied fruit flavours with enticing complexity and a wonderful, fine acidity you’d usually expect to find in seriously top-dollar nectar.
-
Pinot Blanc is a bit of an under-the-radar grape that’s never quite conquered the world stage, but it’s right at home on the steep slate vineyards of the Mosel, where German winemakers like Felix and Annalena love it for the powerful, flavoursome white wines it produces.
-
On the nose, think nicely ripened galia melons and perfumed quince. In the mouth, think a salivating cocktail of juicy fruit with subtle smokey notes, great power and length. Pure unctuous indulgence.

Meet the winemaker - Naked Marketplace
Every week, on our travels or back at HQ, we come across wines that taste amazing but weren’t made for us by Naked winemakers
At the price and quality, we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t make them available to you. So we list them without a winemaker or a story under Naked Marketplace
They’re generally parcels and one-offs, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
