Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
A seriously high-end super Tuscan giving one of Italy's most expensive wines a run for its money
- A true Merlot from the coast of Tuscany, taking inspiration from one of the world’s most famous Super Tuscans, Tua Rita Redigaffi. It’s a wine that has received astronomical ratings and reviews, but in order to taste it, you have to pay over £200 for a bottle.
- Ripalti is very similar in both style and character to Tua Rita Redigaffi and was grown in the vineyard immediately next door in Suvereto. It’s a small appellation that has been quickly gaining a reputation for its high quality reds.
- The growing season here is exceptionally long, starting almost a month before the rest of Tuscany and ending almost a month after. All of this works together to form a truly distinctive Merlot, comparable to the perfect blackberry jam - extravagant and fruity with lots of fresh berries.

Serving advice

Food match
A typical food pairing is 'Peposo' which is a stewed beef with a lot of black pepper (Pepe-peposo). But a good veggie combination could be with 'Melanzane alla parmigiana', an aubergine dish layered with a tomato sauce and parmesan.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stefano di Blasi
- When iconic winemaker Stefano di Blasi first joined Naked in 2014, we couldn’t believe our luck. He was the genius behind Solaia and Tignanello, two of Italy’s most famous (and expensive) reds at over £100 a pop.
- Stefano’s dream is to make the wines he wants to and, thanks to Angel funding, he is doing just that! Super-premium Tuscan treats have been winging their way into Angel’s baskets for years now, and at a fraction of the price they would be elsewhere!
- Our King of Tuscany has a real talent for bringing elegance into his wines that is appreciated by critics all around the world and, with nearly 180K ratings, it seems Angels are a big fan too..!
